I think so. Ruby is just the sweetest, most calm and lovable dog I have had in a long time. Don't get me wrong, she's still a puppy. She still has that mischievous
puppy look in her eyes sometimes. But overall, she's a quiet, calm, sweet dog! And, unfortunately for me, she reminds me a lot of Tasha.
Tasha was my first dog that was all mine. Prior to that, my family had a dog, but she wasn't mine like Tasha was. Ruby looks a lot like Tash.
I'm thinking that she's not much Doxie. I think she's Rat Terrier, Manchester Terrier and/or Fox Terrier. There may be some Doxie or something else in there, but mostly Terrier.

That would explain why she kept getting out of her former owner's yard. Terriers are very high energy and love to dig. That's why the guy got rid of her. He was tired of her escaping from his yard. Maybe the reason she ran away was to find a better home. And she did!
Or she will as soon as she's adopted.
I take her for her spay appointment on Thursday and will probably keep her for a week afterwards so she can heal. Then, I don't expect it'll be long before she has a forever home.
She sure is a cutie!
I just finished working on the service for this Sunday
(is it already March 1st?). I think it's pretty good, but I'm going to run it by Arleen to have her check it out. She's a great editor.
I bought some ink to see if I can get the printer running. I want to make up a sort of bulletin for the service but I need the printer to do it.
If the ink doesn't help, I'll have to have Arleen fix it for me. I don't have time to have the bulletins printed, so...
I probably won't take Ruby with me to the first service. She'll be healing from her surgery so she'll stay home. I plan to take Muffin and Toots. I'm not sure about Dink, but I KNOW I won't be taking Bentley.
He's much to ornery and I don't want him barking through the service.
I was planning to take Dusty
with me too in her travel cage, but it's been pretty cold here, so I'll probably leave her at home this time.
Well, I have to go pick up Arleen. Everyone have a safe, blessed day.
Reverend Claudia and the critters..
