Well, Miss Ruby went to her second adoption event Saturday, but she wasn't adopted.
Afterwards, we went over to the dog park for a little play time. Ruby found another puppy and had a blast!
On Sunday, we had three new people and five new dogs join us. Everyone got along great and the dogs played nice. Actually, we spent an extra hour in the park so the dogs could play.
After that we went to Jim's for Easter dinner. Delicious!!
All in all, it was a beautiful weekend.
Next weekend looks to be even busier. There are so many things going on and I'm hoping to get to as many as possible to spread the word about the church.
I have several articles ready for my Detroit Dogs Examiner page, I just have to decide when to put them up and in what order.
Dusty is still sitting on five eggs. She is being a real good little mama bird — too bad the eggs are not fertile. She is definitely being a good mama, but I miss the interaction with her. Since she's been on her eggs she doesn't want to spend as much time out with me.
Ruby is definitely coming out of her shell. She is turning into a real puppy. A puppy with a shoe fetish. She keeps stealing our shoes, slippers,
boots, whatever she can get. The other day Arleen went to put her in her crate and there were two shoes, a boot, and a slipper in the crate.
She is really a very smart dog
and learns fast. One of the men at our service is interested in her. He is looking for another dog for his dog. He just lost a dog a few weeks ago. So Ruby may have a home soon.

All Creatures is going to be donating a raffle item to Pets and Bets. Pets and Bets
will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Bentley's Restaurant in West Bloomfield. All Creatures ULC and Petlane are donating a raffle items.
We are also sponsoring Music4Mutts in May.
I am working on getting the donation ready for that too. It's going to be a busy few months. But the more I get out there, the more I can promote the church.
I hope everyone had a happy Easter and has a safe, blessed week.
Reverend Claudia and the critters...
