It's been a while since I blogged. Life has presented me with some health issues that are finally cleared up, thank God. I'm feeling much better and now we have even more to tackle. Arleen and I are now the proud foster parents of a 12-week old, blind, chocolate Cocker Spaniel puppy who is keeping us on our toes.
Hank is an adorable boy, but he is certainly busy. Ar and I had forgotten what it's like to have a young puppy underfoot. And I mean UNDERFOOT. He is at that age where he is nipping at our toes, biting our socks, and holding onto our pants legs while we drag him along.
It's getting pretty old. And those sharp, little puppy teeth really hurt!Still, Hank is a cutie so I expect he'll find a permanent home quickly. He will be going to the vet Wednesday to have his eyes checked again (he had an infection during his first visit), then he'll need to be neutered. But I'm sure he'll get adopted quickly. The main problem we have right now is that he and Bentley don't get along at all. And Hank thinks he's "all that" and won't back down. Ar and I are afraid his eye might get injured in the fracas.
With all that's going on, Arleen and I have decided to start looking for a building to have our own business and the church. We are looking, but we have some requirements. The search will go on while we get a business plan in line and do what we need to to get the business up and running. It will, of course, be a dog-based business. Gotta love those dogs!
Have a safe and blessed day.
