Welcome to my Journal about life, God, and nature! I'm glad you stopped by. I hope you enjoy this blog about me, my critters (dogs, birds, and an occasional foster dog), and my life. Please feel free to leave a message (preferably clean) for me. God bless.

Kerri:
Little dogs do seem to make up in attitude what they lack in size. We have a min. schnauzer and in her mind she is just a big as any other dog. We also can't seem to convince her doggies can't fly. She just pushes off from where ever we are holding her - thankfully we always have a good grip so she doen't fall. She's a blessing!

Moving on
Hank has moved on to a new foster home. His new foster mom is considering adopting him. I sure hope he finds a perfect, loving home. I am praying that he will find someone who will spoil him as much or more than I did. I really fell for that little guy.
I am considering fostering another puppy. This one is a seven-month old Papillion/Poodle mix. He is not neutered and is still working on potty training and is desperate for a foster mom. I have always been a sucker for dogs in need.
I am going to contact the person who has the pup and also contact Metro to see if they can help. I will definitely need to have this little guy neutered. I sent an e-mail to Marian about helping with him. I'm going to call Robyn (the person who has him) and see what I can do.
This is the little guy and he's just too cute. I am hoping things will work out so I can help him out. He and two other dogs were abandoned to Robyn's SiL and she couldn't keep them, poor babies. She sent the two other dogs (Boxers) to Boxer Rescue.
This week we are taking care of Arleen's daughter's bird, Zippy, for them. He's a male Lovebird so he and Dusty can't come out of their cages at the same time. We don't need any babies! YIKES!!
So now we'll be having the birds out in three shifts instead of two. I have to let the Budgies out separately from Dusty. She chases the Budgies around and tries to bite their feet. So she can only come out by herself. Right now, the Budgies are out getting in some flying time.
It's supposed to be really hot again today and the humidity is high. So I'll be spending the day inside. I do need to run out to pick up my prescriptions so I'll do that now while it's still not too hot. Actually, I'm glad for the heat —my tomatoes and peppers really need the heat. They have been growing but really slowly this year because it hasn't been as hot as usual. I hope the heat will stick around a while.
Well, gotta go pick up my meds and get some bird seed. Everyone have a safe, blessed day.
